Enable Gate Lockout implies activating/deactivating the Gate lockout function by enabling/disabling the toggle button.

Note: To enable this option, you must configure at least one Gate Access Control System with your account.

 

Once you enable the toggle button, you need to make certain rules under which the gate lockout should come into occurrence.

  1. Number of days after the due date after which the gate lockout should occur
  2. Minimum overdue amount after which the gate lockout should occur

Tenant Notification Template refers to the communication to be sent to your tenants regarding the gate lockout scenarios.

Email notifications on Gate lockout (when gate access is suspended)

Email notifications on Grant Access (when gate access is granted)

Enabling/Disabling the toggle buttons will activate/deactivate the corresponding function.

Clicking the preview icon will give a quick sight into the notification template, which you can edit only from the Documents section in Settings.

       

Enable Auto Grant for Gate Lockout Units would mean that units that are locked out will be automatically granted gate access once the dues are cleared.

Notify Storage Operator to Overlock implies whether the Storage Operator should be notified to overlock the unit (put a manual lock) which prevents the delinquent tenant from accessing the unit. Enabling the toggle button will activate the function.

Activating this function requires certain rules to be made under which the overlock should come into occurrence.

When you are done with all the changes, click Submit. To view the leases that are overdue, click View Overdue Leases, which will redirect you to the Operations tab.

The automation part is done. To fetch reports on overlocked units, go to Reports and click Overlock Status.

 

Select the Storage category, location, building, overlock status (Applied or Removed), and the period from the dropdown. Click Get Report.

You can export the fetched report to any format that’s available in the dropdown.
